UNESCO director general arrives in Azerbaijan

UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova arrived in Baku on May 29 and was greeted by Gunay Efendiyeva, head of the UNESCO office in Azerbaijan, at the Heydar Aliyev Airport, 1news.az reports.

Bokova will attend the second World Forum for Intercultural Dialogue held on May 29 – June 1. The director general noted presence of many pressing issues provoking inter-religious and inter-ethnic conflicts.
