Syrian opposition has demanded Russia not to interfere in foreign intervention. Salim Idris, head of the Higher Military Council of the Free Syrian Army sent a letter to the UNSC, stating that the same consequences will be seen as in Libya, unless Russia complies, RIA Novosti reports.

Russia blocked a declaration of the UNSC concerning the El Quseir events, where militants were attacked by the government. Idris urged the UN to put more pressure on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to stop attacks in El Quseir and send humanitarian aid.

The oppositionist noted that the Hezbollah movement was activating in Syria and was engaged in Aleppo and districts east and west of Damascus.
