European lawmaker meets with Georgia's jailed former PM
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaKshishtof Lizek, a Polish co-rapporteur of the European Parliament for Georgia, has met with Vano Merabishvili, Georgia's jailed former prime minister and incumbent Secretary General of the opposition United National Movement.
The European lawmaker noted that the former head of cabinet's living conditions are quite acceptable, but noted that Merabishvili had no television set.
The Georgian Minister of Justice, Teya Tsulukiani, reacted by saying that a TV is not necessary, according to Georgian law.
