Volgograd hosts Russian-Azerbaijani Forum
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaVolgograd will host the 4th Russian-Azerbaijani Forum attended by officials of administrations of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, including 77 delegates from Azerbaijan, ITAR-TASS cites Elvira Lagutina, Minister for Economy, Foreign Economic Relations and Investments of the Volgograd Region.
The Azerbaijani delegation is headed by Ali Gasanov, head of the section for socio-political affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.
The Baku Park will be founded at the Volgograd Central Park. An exhibition on economic cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan will open within the framework of the meeting.
The official opening of the forum will be held at the New Experimental Theater on June 6. A photo exhibition about the contribution of Azerbaijani people in the Great Patriotic War and role of Heydar Aliyev in Russian-Azerbaijani relations will be presented.
Russia and Azerbaijan will sign governmental agreements to support the Joint Energy Systems, cooperate in economy, science, culture.
Governor of the Volgograd Region Sergey Bojenov said that the region had industrial and infrastructure projects to present for investors.
The first Russian-Azerbaijani forum was held in Baku in 2010, second in Astrakhan and third in Baku.
