Georgia to join NATO regardless of Russia’s attitude

Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze noted in the US that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev had said nothing new concerning NATO expansion, Rustavi-2 reports.

Medvedev said yesterday that Russia was opposed to expansion of the alliance.

Panjikidze added that Tbilisi knew what it was doing and integration in the NATO was a priority of foreign policy.
