OMON unit attacked in Dagestan

Unknown perpetrators set off a bomb along the route of an OMON (Special Purpose Police Unit) column and opened fire on the policemen, 12 of whom received injuries, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the local police authorities. The incident occurred at 12.00 near the village of Gubden in Karabudakhkentsky District. The case is being investigated.
