Juvenile delinquency investigator killed in Kabardino-Balkaria

The corpse of a 24-year-old juvenile delinquency investigator, police lieutenant Ekaterina Matveeva, was found today in the town of Tirniause, Interfax reports, referring to local police authorities.

The body of the young woman with a gunshot wound to the head was found in her apartment. According to the same source the possibility of suicide has not been ruled out, but it is not the main line of inquiry.
