The roof of the new Georgian parliament in Kutaisi collapsed last night, Trend reports.
A water pipe broke in the building. Water damaged the roof pillar.
A special commission inspected the building in late May. Experts found many problems in the buildings’ structure and said that it was in unsatisfactory condition.
Most members of the Georgian Dream coalition want the parliament to be moved back to Tbilisi in Autumn.
