Two policemen die during special operation in Chechnya

Two officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya died during a special operation in Grozny, ITAR-TASS cites the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

The incident occurred at about 10 pm in the Zavodskoy district of the Chechen capital. Policemen took part in a special operation, aimed at eliminating members of illegal armed gangs. According to Ruslan Alkhanov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Chechnya, the families of the officers will be provided with all necessary help.
