Well-known journalist dies in car accident in Chechnya

A well-known Chechen journalist, Malika Betieva, and four members of her family died today in car accident on the Grozny-Shatoy highway, RIA Novosti reports.

As a result of the car accident on the Grozny-Shatoy highway five people died and two were injured. Among the dead is Malika Betieva, a 44-year old Chechen journalist and deputy editor-in-chief of a newspaper in the republic.
