Azerbaijan and Ukraine discuss realization of Euro-Asian Oil-Transportation Corridor

Azerbaijani Minister for Energy Natig Aliyev and his Ukrainian counterpart Edward Stavitsky have discuss realization of the Euro-Asian Oil-Transportation Corridor to transport Azerbaijani oil to Ukrainian refineries and then to other states.

The ministers discussed shipments of Azerbaijani liquefied gas to Ukraine, construction of the LNG terminal, Ukraine’s joining the AGRI project (Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector) and exploitation of Ukrainian pipelines to transport gas to Europe in the light of launch of TANAP (Trans-Anatolia Pipeline).

They also discussed construction of a refineries on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine to process Caspian oil.
