Deputy minister for regional development of North Caucasus appointed

Vadim Malinin has become Deputy Minister for Regional Development of the NCFD, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, replacing Sergey Vereshchagin, to work on socio-economic issues of the region, RIA Novosti reports.

Malinin is 44 years old. He served in the army in 1987-2013, graduated at the Military Institute of the Defense Ministry.

Vereshchagin became the acting Director General and then the incumbent Director General of the Northern Caucasus Resorts in late May.
