Turkish authorities to drive protesters out in 24 hours

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promises to clear the Taksim Square of Istanbul of protesters in 24 hours, RIA Novosti reports.

Hundreds of anti-governmental protesters gathered at the square today.

Erdogan said at the session of his Justice and Development Party that protesters should leave the streets of Istanbul and promises punishments to provokers of disorders.
