Protest-minded citizens of Turkey, who for two weeks have been occupying Gezi Park in Istanbul, said today that they had chosen to stay in the park and keep it at any cost, in spite of the last warning given by the government of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"We will remain in Gezi Park with our requirements and sleeping bags," Interfax quotes the statement of the activists of the movement "Solidarity with Taksim."

Recall that last time Erdogan urged the demonstrators to leave Gezi Park was today: "I am making a final warning: mothers and fathers, please, take your children out of there. Gezi Park does not belong to the occupying forces, it belongs to everyone."
