Iranian speaker of parliament sues ex-President Ahmadinejad

Iranian ex-President Mahmoud Ahadinejad has been summoned to the court over a complaint from Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani, RIA Novosti reports.

Members of an unnamed parliamentary committee joined Larijani’s lawsuit. Hearings were set for November.

Hassan Rouhani was elected as the new President of Iran on Friday.
