Turkish protesters caused $53 million of economic damage

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that protests in Istanbul resulted in $53 million of economic damage and had the worst repercussions on the poor, Hurriyet reports today.

Erdogan noted that the government had a new program which will reduce unemployment by 7.8% and inflation to 4.5%.
