9 people caught hiding weapons and drugs in Georgia

9 people were detained as suspects keeping weapons, ammo, narcotics and videos of tortures in a cache in West Georgia, Georgia Online reports.

One of them is an official of the Defense Ministry, two others used to be police officers, Georgian Interior Minister Irakly Garibashvili said.

8 barrels of weapons and narcotics were found. The crime was committed when Vano Merabishvili was the Interior Minister.

The police will publish more details of the case today.
