Ingush leader says situation in republic is stable

The situation surrounding terrorism in Ingushetia is stable, the head of the republic, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, says.

The statement came from a meeting of the Ingush Security Council, at which issues of human rights and the struggle with terrorism were discussed.

The republic's ombudsman, Dzhambulat Ozdoyev, noted that since 2010 he has received 236 written and 708 oral complaints concerning human rights violations during police operations.
