Russia and Azerbaijan reach new level of cooperation, expert says

Member of the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs Leonid Gusev told VK that Russian arms deliveries to Azerbaijan showed that bilateral cooperation had reached a new level. 

According to the expert, such deliveries are an obvious sign that Russian-Azerbaijani relations are very friendly. Only close allies cooperate in the sphere of defense, the expert says. 

He underlines that, even though bilateral relations have never been bad, they have never been close either.
