Russia’s Tsitskiyev suspected of economic damage worth about 900 million rubles

Yusup Tsitskiyev, ex-chief of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in Ingushetia, is suspected of economic damage worth 873.5 million rubles caused by issuing 109 housing certificates illegally in 2006, RIA Novosti reports.

The certificates were issued and then purchased from their owners at a low price. They were then used in fake deals in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

There are 15 suspects in the case. The Russian Military Investigative Committee is on the case because Tsitskiyev is an officer.
