Taner Yildiz: Turkey to continue to diversify gas supply even at expense of Kurdish autonomy

Energy Minister of Turkey Taner Yildiz said today that the policy of diversification of gas sources and supply routes will continue on through all the options.

In particular, the minister said that Turkey will continue to work in all areas of Iraq, including the Kurdish autonomy.

Yildiz also spoke about his meeting with his Russian counterpart, Alexander Novak, with whom he discussed the problem of the growing demand for gas and the construction of gas storage facilities in Turkey.
