Turkic Council to establish foundation for protection of Turkic cultural heritage in Azerbaijan

Halil Akinci, the Secretary General of the Council for Cooperation of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), said today a foundation for the protection of Turkic cultural heritage will be established in Azerbaijan.

Akinci explained that a document on establishing the fund has already been signed. The project will be implemented with state funding from the member-states of the Council (Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan).
