Iranian stock exchange breaks record

The business activity index of the Tehran stock exchange broke its own record today, surmounting the 16,000 points mark, says ITAR-TASS.

The new record is 16,058 points. This is the highest index in the 43 years since the stock exchange was founded. Experts say the showing may indicate that international sanctions against Iran are not efficient.
