Turkey has spent some $2.5 billion searching for oil deposits in the Black Sea, the country's Energy Minister Taner Yildiz says. He noted that Turkey will continue the exploration of the waters of the Black Sea.

"Turkey will continue its search for oil and gas in the Black Sea, because we are certain that there are rich oil deposits in the Turkish and Ukrainian waters," the minister said.
