Russia's Deputy PM hails amalgamation of Supreme Court and Supreme Arbitral Court

Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov says he welcomes the amalgamation of the country's Supreme Court and the Supreme Arbitral Court. Such a move will promote the rights of owners, he believes.

"This will in fact lead to better protection of the rights of owners. The whole legal system will work in order to secure the rights of owners and consumers," Shuvalov told the Russia 24 TV channel on Friday.
