NATO to bid farewell to Georgian soldiers

A NATO delegation will take part in a farewell ceremony for Georgian soldiers to Afghanistan as part of an official visit to Georgia. 

The visit of the NATO delegation led by Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is scheduled for June 26-27, Trend reports. 

The delegation will hold meetings with the Georgian President, Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament, foreign minister, defense minister and secretary of the Security Council. A meeting of the NATO-Georgia commission with the Georgian Prime Minister will also be held.

Moreover, the delegation members will meet representatives of NGOs and the media.
