Police officer injured in fight at Makhachkala Airport

A mass brawl requiring the intervention of law enforcement officers occurred today at the entranceway of Makhachkala airport. A criminal investigation into the use of violence against a representative of authorities has been initiated. 

According to the investigators of the Southern Investigation Department of Transport, on June 25 a group of i5 unidentified individuals arrived and started a heated argument, which later turned into a brawl, at the entranceway to Makhachkala airport. In order to prevent public disorder the group was approached by a police officer on duty, RIA "Dagestan" reports. The officer was assaulted and the perpetrators managed to flee.
