Azerbaijan exported about 3 billion cubic meters of gas in January-May 2012

Azerbaijan exported 2.872 billion cubic meters of gas in January-May 2013, with 1.781 billion cubic meters declared by customs offices for $442.301 million,, 1news reports.

Azerbaijan exported 6.99 billion cubic meters of gas in 2012. According to customs declarations, it exported 2.714 billion cubic meters for $648.717 million.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transfers gas to Russia, Georgia, Iran, Nakhchivan Autonomy. The Shah Deniz Consortium exports gas to Turkey via the South Caucasus Pipeline.
