GUAM and Baltic Assembly organize joint conference in Batumi

The GUAM Parliamentary Assembly and the Baltic Assembly are opening a partnership conference in Batumi today, Trend reports.

Zurab Abashidze, chairman of the GUAM PA and Vice Speaker of Georgian Parliament, will open the talks. The meeting will be attended by Raymond Veyonis, President of the Baltic Assembly, Elton Mamedov, Azerbaijani representative to GUAM, Valery Chechelashvili, Secretary General of the Organization for Development of Democracy and Economy, MP Sakvarelidze, professor Aadu Must will attend the talks.

Participants of the conference will discuss methods of combating crime, cooperation in energy, investments, tourism, politics, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, prospects of further cooperation of GUAM and the Baltic Assembly.
