Saakashvili: After presidency I will turn to political education
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe current president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, said at a joint press conference with the NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, that after his presidential term is over he plans to work on the level of political education in the country.
"I want to work towards raising political awareness and educational standards. What worries me is that there are problems that occur because of a lack of basic standards and knowledge. I will do everything in order to engage in politics in a direction that is called "education and information". I do not know how I will do it, but our problem is a lack of basic education," News-Georgia quotes the president.
