Protestor is claimed to have been killed during the clash in Diyarbakir, Turkey

A group of people marched towards the Gandarmerie Station in Kayacik village of Diyarbakir province’s Lice town in southeastern Turkey on Friday afternoon, in order to protest against the ongoing construction works of a new military post.

The group was stopped by security forces, and it turned into a clash between the two sides. A protestor was claimed to have been killed during the clash, according to information that was gathered from BDP Van Deputy Aysel Tugluk. She also claimed that 6 more were wounded by gendarmerie bullets, DHA news agency reports.
