Nalchik collects over million rubles for Syrian Adygs

Nalchik hosted the World Cherkess Forum for humanitarian aid for compatriots in Syria. 1,350,838 rubles and $10,700 were collected, Interfax-South reports.

Khazretali Dzazejev, head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Muslim Administration, reminded about Ramadan and urged Muslims to help Syrian Adygs by donating money to the cathedral mosque in Nalchik.

Valentin Bobylev said that Christians collected about 100,000 rubles for the cause.

He forum initiated by the International Cherkess Association was attended by officials from Israel, Germany, Syria, Turkey, Jordan, Saint-Petersburg and Adygeya.
