Ibragimbekov becomes candidate for president of Azerbaijan

Rustam Ibragimbekov, a Soviet and Azerbaijani writer, playwright, cinema director, has been promoted by the National Council of Democratic Forces as a candidate for president at the Musavat building, head of the council Ali Kerimli says.

Ibragimbekov became the Honorary Artist of Azerbaijan in 1976, Honorary Artist of Russia in 1995 and a professor.
