Stadium project presented in Vladikavkaz

The Alania Stadium project for 32,000 spectators was presented in Vladikavkaz yesterday. Construction of the stadium was initiated to replace the Spartak Stadium two years ago, certified by the UEFA, Kommersant reports.
North Ossetian Prime Minister Sergey Takoyev said that the deal to build the stadium had been reached after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2011. The government will pay 300 million rubles for development of the project.
Turkish architect Murad Kader’s company won the tender for the stadium construction. Construction will start in spring 2014. President of the club Valery Gazzayev said that the project is worth €186 million at a cost of about €6,000 per seat.
