Yevkurov: If I win Dagestani election, I will change 70% of my team

At a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said that he intends to change 60-70% of Dagestan's leadership if he wins the elections.  "Changes will concern the key positions ... Approximately 60-70% will be changed. It may happen," Yevkurov said.

After the meeting, Yevkurov said that he did not talk to Putin about the territorial dispute between Ingushetia and Chechnya over the ownership of the Sunzha district. "We did not discuss this issue. We are working within the law of the Russian Federation ... We have not found common understanding (with Chechnya). We have sent the documents to the federal center, they will study this topic. We are waiting for a decision from the federal government," RIA Novosti quotes Yevkurov.
