Criminal killed in Nalchik

A criminal who opened fire at police officers after they asked him to show his papers has been killed in Nalchik, local law-enforcement agencies say.

The incident occurred at 4 p.m. Moscow time near a petrol station not far from the Ordzhonikidzevsky Bridge.
