Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad can transport 1 million passengers

It is planned that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad will transport 1 million passengers and 6 million tons of cargo annually in its first stage, Turkish Minister of Transport Binali Yildyrym said, Business Georgia reports.

At a trilateral meeting in Baku, participated in by the Georgian Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ramaz Nikoleishvili, the sides discussed issues in constructing the Tetritskaro-Tsalka and Tsalka-Akhalkalaki railroads and reconstruction of Kartsakhi station.
