El-Baradei appointed as Egypt's Vice President

Former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed El-Baradei has been appointed as the Egyptian Vice President, Ekho Moskvy cites Egyptian media as saying.

Hasem al-Bablui has been appointed as the country's interim prime minister, the news agency informs.

World media have previously reported that El-Baradei had been appointed as Egypt's prime minister, but the administration of the country's interim president has denied these reports.
