Spring conscription in Russia successful – Defense Ministry

The Russian Defense Ministry said today that the spring conscription this year was a success with 153,200 people called up from April 1 to July 15, according to the presidential order of March 29, 2013, RIA Novosti reports.

Over 700,000 people were summoned by conscription commissions, according to July 12. Over 692,000 people arrived to the commissions.
