MSU graduates of Baku receive diplomas

Fatma Abdullazade, head of the section for humanitarian issues of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Mikhail Jabbarov, Education Minister, Akif Alizade, President of the National Academy of Sciences, Anar, head of the Azerbaijani Union of Writers, Tamara Sinyavskaya, USSR People’s Artist, delegations of the MSU, deans, teachers, diplomats and public figures have attended the ceremony of handing diplomas to graduates of the Baku branch of the MSU named after M.V. Lomonosov, Trend reports.

Professor Nargiz Pashayeva, head of the Baku branch of the MSU, expressed pride for the graduates. She thanked President of the MSU Victor Sadovnichy for attention paid to the Baku branch of the university.

Professor yuri Zinchenko, Dean of the Psychology Faculty of the MSU, President of the Russian Psychological Society and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education, read out the greeting note of Sadovnichy congratulating the graduates and staff of the university.

93 bachelors received diplomas.

Zinchenko reminded that the Baku branch of the MSU was one of the favourites of the university. He reminded that its first graduates received diplomas in 1913. He thanked Pashayeva for opening the Psychological Faculty and handed her a symbol of gratefulness for rebirth of psychological science in Azerbaijan.
