Foreigners moving to Azerbaijan will need to pass language tests

Foreigners planning to get permanent residence in Azerbaijan will start passing language exams on August 1, abz.az cites Fuad Aleskerov, head of the law enforcing section of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.

A joint commission of the State Migration Service, Ministry for Justice and Ministry for Education will be formed to organize exams.

Migrants will be granted status of temporary residence, which can be prolonged by 3 years for investing 0.5 million manats.
