Iranian provinces to be interconnected by railways

Iran is building 8,000km of railways to connect all its provinces, Trend cites Iranian Minister for Transportation and Housing Ali Nikzad.

One of the main projects initiated during presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was construction of a railway between Gorgan (Iran) and Indzheburun (Turkmenistan) and its opening on May 27.
