Madrid Club praises Azerbaijan

Federico Mayor Zaragoza, head of the Foundation for a Culture of Peace of the Madrid Club and UNESCO Director General, met Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and called its multi-cultural society and tolerance an example for all countries of the world, Trend reports.

Mammadyarov praised the conference organized by the Madrid Club and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and expressed hope that a joint memorandum would contribute to bilateral relations.

Zaragoza noted the role of women in Azerbaijan and equality of genders.
