Baku wants Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents to meet

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that Baku wanted presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia to meet. Such topic was discussed in Vienna and approved by Azerbaijan.

Mammadyarov added that a meeting with co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group will take place in New York within the framework of the UN General Assembly. The US will appoint a new co-chair for the OSCE Minsk Group in August.

The minister noted that Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh were citizens of Azerbaijan. He expressed support of meetings of Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno-Karabakh.
