The British authorities have dropped its no-travel recommendation on Iran, voicing willingness to improve ties with Tehran on a “step-by-step basis,” Iranian state-run news agency Press TV reports.

The foreign office modified on Wednesday its travel advice on Iran on its website, removing a recommendation that warned against travelling to Iran.

The new statement only warns British nationals to avoid travelling to “eastern Iran, including the Afghan and Pakistani borders.”
