Russian oppositionist Navalny gets 5 years of jail

The Leninsky District Court of Kirov has sentenced Russian oppositionist Alexey Navalny to 5 years of prison and a fine of 1 million rubles for thefts in Kirovles, Interfax reports.

Another suspect of the case, businessman Pyotr Ofitserov, got four years of prison.
