Iran wants to strengthen ties with EU

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani wants to strengthen ties with the EU, including the UK, to form a constructive partnership based on respect of mutual interests, ITAR-TASS cites spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Abbas Aragchi today.

Commenting on the talks with the six mediators of the nuclear program, the official said that Iran remained a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and fulfilled its obligations. He added that Iran believed in an honest dialogue based on goodwill and cooperation. Talks with the mediators will continue as soon as a new group of negotiators is formed, he concluded.
