GDP of Azerbaijan rises by 5%

The GDP of Azerbaijan in January-June 2013 totaled 27.2 billion manats, exceeding the previous year’s figure by 1.3 billion manats (5%), News Azerbaijan reports.

48.6% of the GDP was accumulated by industry, 10.9% by construction, 4.4% by agriculture, 29.6% by services.

Volume of the petroleum sector dropped by 0.7%, the non-petroleum increased by 10.9%.
