Caucasian War Memorial established in Adygeya

A memorial to the Caucasian War (1817—1864) has been established in Adygeya, Russia.

The monument has been raised in order to commemorate the tragedies of the war and to symbolize the unity of the people of Adygeya, the head of the republic, Aslan Tkhakushinov, is quoted as saying by Interfax-South.
