New head of medical service for Olympic Games in Sochi appointed

Sergey Korovashkin was appointed at the Department of Health of the Krasnodar Territory to head the medical control and sanitary-epidemiological security service of the Olympic Games in Sochi-2014, Yuga.ru reports, citing ‘New Television of Kuban’.

Korovashkin started his career in Kanevskaya Cossack village as a dentist. Later he started heading a dental polyclinic. He was appointed as the chief doctor of Kanevskiy region in 2003. In May 2005 he became the president of the association of dentists in the Krasnodar Territory.
